Hey ink lovers! As a squad the Lord has been blessing us with some amazing stories and relationships. That being said, a lot of us have decided to turn those stories into art and would love to share with all of those following along on our journey. It has also been incredible to see how God has used this art medium to open up conversations about the gospel and the freedom we have in Christ wherever we go. Below are some pictures of the ink we’ve gotten from all over the world representing a variety of stories and connections. Without further adieu, we hope you enjoy the P-squad tattoo tour!

Jaden:

  1. 2. 3.4.

Descriptions:

  1. Preach love! It’s the most important commandment.
  2. A dove is a representation for me that the Holy Spirit is always with me.
  3. A honey bee reminds me of home. Utah is the beehive state.
  4. The vase just looks really cool and I wanted a reminder of the sacrifice Christ made on the cross.

Victoria:

Description: “In the neighborhood there was an immoral woman on the streets, known to all to be a prostitute. When she heard that Jesus was at Simeon’s house, she took an exquisite flask made from alabaster, filled it with the most expensive perfume, went right into the home of the Jewish religious leader, and in front of all the guests, she knelt at the feet of Jesus. Broken and weeping, she covered his feet with the tears that fell from her face. She kept crying and drying his feet with her long hair. Over and over she kissed Jesus’ feet. Then, as an act of worship, she opened her flask and anointed his feet with her costly perfume.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭7‬:‭37‬-‭38‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“I was created to lay at the feet of Jesus Christ, broken and in complete awe, giving him my everything, focused on nothing but him alone.”

Caroline:

1. 2.

Description:

  1. Psalm 90:12 says, “Teach me to number my days, that I may gain a heart of wisdom.” A big part of my testimony involves falling into cycles of procrastination and wasting the time that God has given me. I got this tattoo in Albania, when the Lord was sweet to convict me that every moment is His and that our time is never guaranteed. It is a reminder to count the days all for Him for His glory.
  2. I got this tattoo in Guatemala after the Lord gave me a picture of it at training camp. This is the word ‘covenant’ in Hebrew and it is joined by the rainbow God showed to Noah. It is a reminder to me of the Lord’s faithfulness through His covenants with us. We have abandoned and neglected covenants with Him from the beginning but as He is faithful, I want to be found faithful too!

Banks:

Description: “Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬

I got this tattoo because I want to soak up all the Holy Spirit I can. I want to be a sponge for the holy spirt. Also sweet victory is a great song.

Kirsten:

Description: God has given me visions throughout the race of me as a small child with God as my father. At different points, I have seen God holding me, teaching me to walk, and telling me how proud He is of me. That’s why I got this tattoo. It’s been a really cool way to share the gospel!

Tris:

Description: I had dreamt of this image before the race and didn’t know what it symbolized until coming on the race so the elements of this piece are prophetic for me. The stars represent the three pillars of community, intimacy and mission that the World Race is founded upon and that we, as individuals, have continually dove into throughout this experience. The globe is an emblem of all the various cultures, people groups, experiences and relationships we have encountered in this time. Lastly, the water symbolizes the cleansing refreshment of the Holy Spirit that follows us as we walk in the ways of Jesus and depicts a renewing of the world as we bring his light to every corner. It also represents how His Word is a wellspring that offers eternal life and truth.

Description:

  1. I got this tattoo in Antigua, Guatemala! “Libre” is the Spanish word for free. Much of my time in Guatemala was experiencing freedom through forgiveness and end embracing the work of restoration that the Lord has done in my life.
  2. I also got this tattoo in Antigua, Guatemala! This tattoo is a reminder to follow the nudges of the Holy Spirit. The first man I saw accept Jesus into his heart was a 70 year old mean wearing a cowboy hat. I was with two Guatemalans that were in the discipleship program at the AIM base in Guatemala and I told them I felt the Holy Spirit nudging us to talk to him. I prayed through their conversation with him and then at the end he accepted Jesus into his heart!

Description:

  1. My rings are each taken from the original Hebrew of the testament. My first, which is the middle ring, is from Exodus 3:14. אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה is what the Lord responds to Moses with when He says, “I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE” (or ‘I AM WHAT I AM’). The second is the bottom line, which is from Isaiah 43:1 as a reminder of the Lord telling us, “I have redeemed you, I have called you by name, you are mine.” The third is my wrist is and is the most common/ revered name for the Lord, YHWH. Below His name is the word ‘khesed’ which is the Hebrew word specifying love which is steadfast and ever-pursuant. The last is my top line which is taken from Psalm 42:7, the start of the verse: “Deep calls to deep, in the roar of your waterfalls.” For me this is a reminder not only the unfathomable depths of who He is, but really of all that I’ve gone through and how He has never abandoned me. He has brought me through trials that I might become more and more refined and as difficult and painful as they might have been, His grace poured out has saved and fueled me through it all.

Trisa L Moser

Hey guys, welcome to my blog! I am ecstatic to share with you the raw and real ways God has been moving on the field, and all the transformational ways my heart has changed in the midst of experiencing it. A short background update: I am a 23 yr old born and raised in Bluffton, IN. I have a rowdy, outdoor lovin\' family with 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters along with my parents, Trout and Lisa. I graduated from Grace College right before the race with a B.S. in communication and intercultural studies. Some of my favorite things are horseback riding, snowboarding, solemn skiing and anything outdoors. I am thrilled that we have this platform to express all the wild stories from the field. My prayer is that hearts will be moved by the testimonials shared on here, and that it gives all my readers a better glimpse at the amazing God I serve. If at any time you have questions or a concern that you would wish to discuss after reading, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. I want this to be a space for open dialogue and discussion, because some of the things that happen out here are hard to comprehend. Even for me if I\'m being honest. Thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far on my journey. I can\'t wait to see how our sovereign Father will continue to work. Much Love, Tris
